Enter your current spur and pinion sizes and your diff ratio(there are a few common models already built in to the drop down or you can enter your own custom ratio). Then you can enter a pinion and spur combination you were considering in the "Proposed" section. This calculator will output your current final drive ratio and rollout as well as your proposed FDR & rollout while giving you a visual representation of how performance will be impacted by the change.

This tool allows you to enter your intended target loaded - "big end" motor RPM, kV of your motor, and battery pack size then proceeds to calculate the total potential output at both nominal and fully charged pack voltages. From there, some safety and loss in efficiency calculations are done in the background, and it will flag your combination safe to proceed or warn of a potential overheating or over-revving situation to achieve your desired results.
